About

Lithuanian Cybercrime Center of Excellence for Training, Research and Education is a research organization established with mission to support capability development and innovation management of security and defence agencies. Specific focus is complex, sophisticated cyber related threats. L3CE was established by two national universities: Mykolas Romeris University (MRU) and Kaunas University of Technology (KTU), which allows to retain strong links with academia.

L3CE has implemented several courses in the fields of cybercrime, cybersecurity, digital evidence forensics, comprehensive cyberthreats, hybrid threats for professionals as well students of specialised disciplines ranging from general awareness and basic knowledge levels to the professional skills development. L3CE is active contributor and well renowned hub in the region driving these topics to identify and close constantly evolving new types of threats’ related competence gaps. It is also core partner in large scale EU initiatives in the fields of cybersecurity, cyberthreats, hybrid threats and cybercrimes such as SPARTA, EU-Hybnet, EACTDA and others.

In EAGLE project L3CE is leading Communication and Dissemination work package (WP4) and is a task lead of several tasks:

T4.1 Establishment of overall communication, dissemination, and exploitation strategy

T4.2 Implementation of CDE actions & visibility task force

T4.3. Networking with other EU initiatives & projects

T4.4. Project events and final conference

T4.5. Monitoring and measurement of the impact of communication and dissemination (KPIs)

L3CE is also actively involved in development of courses and responsible for “Cybercrime, cyber threats and cybersecurity” course delivery.
